About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Systems, the objective of the Manager, Business Solutions & Delivery is to implement Canonical Data Model, Data Catalog and Data Quality initiatives using Erwin (Data Modeling) and Microsoft Purview (or equivalent tools).
You will be responsible for the entire solution lifecycle from discovery to delivery and beyond, ensuring quality and success.
Your role will involve close collaboration with IT and business teams to understand the business problems, existing processes, capture data models and build scalable and impactful solutions and applications for a data-driven Real Estate Development company.

The Manager, Business Solutions and Delivery has deep solution or product experience, a working knowledge of technical systems, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
They leverage their influence, communication skills and leadership abilities to drive highly cross-functional products to completion.
They are strategic and agile and bring a creative and methodical approach to problem solving and product development.

What You'll Do

• Data Management
  • Technical skills to develop and maintain a Canonical Data Model to ensure uniform data definitions and structures.
  • Create and manage Data Catalog, Business Glossary and Data Lineage for easy access to enterprise data assets.
  • Implement Data Quality & Classification standards, processes, and metrics to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead the integration of Erwin Data Modeling software into the company's data management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and design data applications.
  • Provide training and support to business users on Master Data Management processes and Erwin software.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management.
• Oversee the technical product lifecycle and collaborate with the business stakeholders to align the backlog and roadmap with corporate strategy.
• Identify and validate new product opportunities, service improvements, and operational efficiencies based on market and customer needs.
• Solution Planning
  • Translate the area strategy into detailed business requirements, epics and user stories while partnering with business and technology teams for prioritization.
  • Conduct market research, vendor assessments, and solution analysis to identify and communicate potential solutions effectively.
• Solution Development
  • Work with a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment on user-centric goals and active involvement in delivery processes (e.g., stand-ups, planning).
  • Report performance metrics, validate assumptions, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to drive alignment.
• Solution Launch
  • Assist in launching features with quality and pace, and create change management plans addressing people, processes, and technology.
  • Manage product roll-out, gather feedback, and continuously optimize for improved performance.
• Project Delivery
  • Collaborate with PMO or take on Project Manager responsibilities to build timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication on project status, release plans, and value measurement to keep the organization informed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or data analysis
• 5+ years of experience as Data Modeling or equivalent roles
• Experience using MS Purview, Collibra, AWS DataZone, Informatica or similar Data Governance tools
• Experience implementing Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives
• Experience facilitating Data Governance conversations and Data Policy implementation with business teams
• Experience working with agile or scrum methodologies
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional work in a highly collaborative environment
• Bonus:
  Understanding of AWS or Azure Data Architecture and services
• Bonus:
  Experience of Real Estate ERP software Yardi Voyager

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level.
Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

$88,200 - $121,200 CAD
