The Director of Operations is a position of Christian ministry and leadership within Baptist Housing, responsible for leading the delivery of care and housing operations, and quality initiatives across their assigned portfolio, which in the Lower Mainland and Victoria consists of Assisted Living and Independent Living.About the Role
• This position is open to candidates on Vancouver Island and The Lower MainlandAs the Director of Operations, you serve as an Ambassador of Baptist Housing, embodying our ministry values and exemplifying servant leadership in alignment with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Your role involves fostering positive relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners while providing spiritual leadership and promoting spiritual growth within the community.
You will oversee independent living, assisted living, and home support services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You will lead and support the team and promote a positive culture, innovation, and professional development.
Your responsibilities include financial and risk management, health and safety leadership, reporting, and networking with key partners.
Your work will directly impact the operational success, financial integrity, and compliance of the organization, contributing to our mission and vision.RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or health care administration (Master's degree preferred)Minimum seven years' experience in administration/management in hospitality or senior services settingThe Director of Operations is a position of Christian ministry and leadership within Baptist Housing.

We're affiliated with the Fellowship Pacific Baptist churches.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, featuring a yearly salary range between $130,000 and $145,000.
