It's this passion for excellence and teamwork that defines us-and it's exactly what we seek in every new hire who joins the XYZ family.The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing our marketing strategy in the Canadian marketplace.
About You:
You're a creative and strategic marketer with a passion for crafting locally resonant programs and top-tier campaigns that enhance brand affinity and position XYZ Storage as the premier choice in self-storage.
In this role, you'll oversee the company's marketing budget, spearhead impactful initiatives, and manage vendor relationships to ensure successful project outcomes that align with our brand vision.There are four main areas to this role.
Financial Management:
Responsible for the marketing budget with an emphasis on increasing conversions and decreasing the cost of acquisitionResponsible for the marketing line item feeding into the operating budgetsTechnology Management:
Track events in G4A to be able to evaluate campaigns and provide executive level reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Create and analyze customer acquisition and google analytics data weekly to relevant stakeholdersManage Hubspot and optimize email marketing campaigns to increase conversion and repeat customer rates Implement a referral program to increase customer referrals and decrease customer acquisition costsRelationship Management:
Develop and nurture relationships with businesses to attract and retain them as returning customersCreate partnerships with businesses to incentivize them to refer their customers to XYZ Storage Implement customer surveys for inquiring, current, and previous XYZ Storage customers to gauge customer happiness, likelihood to return, and price sensitivity Collaborate with the operations team to train employees on the roll out of new marketing initiatives Manage external stakeholders, including but not limited to, data analyst, SEO agency, web development team, creative agency, and acquisition agency Strategy:
Create marketing strategies and procedures to bring new facilities to full economic occupancy once openedDevelop and execute a marketing strategy for our storage facilities to maintain high economic occupancy ratesFormalize and adapt the marketing mix based on market, and economic conditionsResponsible for understanding the legal marketing responsibilities of a company outlined in CASL and following them for all marketing initiativesManage all digital marketing channels to ensure brand consistencyForecast revenue, yield management, and occupancy rates by performing competition surveys, competitive analysis, and understanding the new operators in the market Identify new marketing channels to further drive marketing KPIsThe most important thing is to learn and have fun everyday! Responsibilities are not limited to those listed above, as the role may be expanded to undertake other related duties.Qualifications:
5+ years of marketing experience Proven ability to execute multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables Excellent project management or organizational skills, with a high attention to detail Hubspot, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva experience is an assetData-driven and can analyze metrics and adjust strategy to optimize performanceUnderstanding of Tableau and GA4 is an asset Ability to understand and manage full stack developmentUnderstanding of SEO,SEM, and paid campaignsSelf-starter with a discipline for goal setting, metrics, and driving decisionsStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenComfortable in a collaborative environmentIn this role, you'll be based at our stunning head office at 459 Eastern Ave, Toronto.
