Technical Skill set:

• Lead the assessment of business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs.

• Collaborate with vendors, business leads, subject matter experts, Information Systems (IS) team and other cross-functional teams to identify end-to-end solution that takes into account future state architecture strategies, current state environment, risks and constraints
• Analyze the viability of the solution to meet project timelines, and quality.
  Recommend alternative solutions that meet business needs
• Support one or more complex business processes, requiring integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business
• Provide high-quality analytical solutions for the key stakeholders
• To increase the business value, collaborate with the product owner to create the product backlog by using Agile practices
• Provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria
• Support Agile practices and encourage the improvement of service
• Facilitate various Agile processes such as Iteration / Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review, Daily Stand-up
• Present low or high-fidelity prototypes accordingly.
• Provide subject matter proficiency in specific functional area(s) to the assigned Scrum team
• Working with various vendors and project delivery teams ensuring a solution has good, solid, well written requirements that allow IS delivery teams to create solutions that align to the requirements
• Work with business partners, vendors to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Build relationships, work collaboratively, and resolve problems with people at all levels in the organization
• Support all technical teams throughout all phases of the project
• Drive end to end delivery working with the integrated development and QA teams ensuring delivery stays on track, defects are resolved in a timely manner

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

• Undergraduate degree in a technical area of study (Computer Science, Engineering etc.)
• 5 - 8 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft applications, business processes, and integrations
• 2+ years of experience with technical/Business analysis and Systems integrations
• Good understanding and experience working with System Integration projects, Web applications, Web APIs and Web services
• Knowledge on PeopleSoft projects in one or more of the following modules will be considered as an asset:
  Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor
• Good understanding of CRM systems are also considered as an asset
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and UML tools
• Ability to write basic SQL queries for solving problems and analyzing data
• Experience analyzing and creating requirements around REST API' s, JSON responses is ideal
• Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical staff and provide leadership in managing issues
• Excellent decision-making, verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with external vendors
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes for a successful delivery of a project
