Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, and Global Capital Markets.

Position Description:

We are looking for a Technical Production Analyst Support Analyst who:

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with engineering/development teams to handle problem management, design, build, and maintain systems.
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application, and network.
• Mentor team members on best practices for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for deployment, management, and visibility of services.
• Lead the production support team and drive SRE improvements for system stability.
• Represent the RPE organization in application design reviews and operational readiness exercises.
• Participate in weekend and off-hours on-call rotation and act as the point of escalation during critical incidents.

Qualifications:

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technology field.
• 1-3 years of practical experience in production support or a similar role.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and SDLC.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.
• Understanding of finance to communicate effectively with business clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating system concepts.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Python, Perl.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, NoSQL DB, alerting tools, monitoring tools, and ticketing services.
• Expert-level knowledge in SQL Server, Sybase, and DB2.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as AutoSys, Crontab, Control-M.
• Experience with Informatica ETL.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and tackle new challenges.

Skills Desired:

• Knowledge and experience in the banking industry.
• Experience with source code and binary repositories, build tools, and CI/CD (Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker) and data streaming technologies like Spark, Kafka.
• Experience with automation/configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and BMC.
• Experience in software development, particularly automation-related experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, python) and compiled languages (C, C#, JAVA, Scala, Go).
• Awareness of modern software and systems architectures, including load-balancing, queuing, caching, and microservices.
• Practical experience running large-scale online systems.
