Fee-for-ServiceCome work as a General Internal Medicine Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!Richmond hospital has 240 beds, sees over 50,000 emergency room patients per year and runs seven acute operating rooms daily as well as a minor procedure room, a busy rehab clinic and an ambulatory procedure centre.
The medical community is collegial and supportive with excellent relationships between departments as well as between community family physicians and specialists.As a General Internal Medicine Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:
Participate in ward rounding service (0700-1700), day ward and ER consult service (0700-1700), and night ward and ER consult service (1700-0700), with other internists, according to a schedule.Participate in Outpatient clinic services and ETT Testing.QualificationsEducation, Licensing, & Experience:
Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - FullCanadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)Knowledge & Abilities:
Passionate about patient welfare you understand the importance of delivering high quality care in the context of complex health care systems.Highly skilled at listening, engaging and consulting with diverse stakeholders including patients, internal and external healthcare professionals and caseworker teams.Ability to pull together the appropriate data and resources to make sound decisions based on fact and supported rationale.Closing StatementInterested in applying?
