The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is growing their institutional giving team and has an opportunity for a Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer.
This role is responsible for developing and sustaining a vibrant portfolio of funder relationships driven by outstanding grant writing, cause marketing, special events and other corporate partnership activities.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, ambitious, goal-oriented and creative, with a successful track record for building strong and productive relationships across corporate and foundation constituencies.
This is a flexible work opportunity, must reside in the Greater St.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Siteman Cancer Center, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, BJC Home Care and Hospice, Evelyn's House (hospice), and Washington University School of Medicine.Role PurposeResponsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major corporations, foundations and, when applicable, state and government grants.ResponsibilitiesCultivates, solicits, and stewards major corporations, foundations and state and government grants.Serves as primary development liaison with key staff members at corporations and foundations and directs volunteer efforts to acquire resources.Develops proposals for funding of new and existing projects and programs for foundation and corporations which exhibit funding interest.Ensures proper acknowledgment, stewardship and maintenance of all assigned prospects.Minimum RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree - Business/relatedExperience5-10 yearsPreferred RequirementsExperience10+ yearsLicenses & CertificationsCFRENon-Profit Admin spec training
