Annual Salary: $60,000-$65,000

Position Summary:

As the Studio Manager of Gee Beauty, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the complete operations of Gee Beauty studio's in Toronto. Your responsibilities encompass efficiently managing stores, leading, and developing employees, and driving store growth and profitability. This role requires a hands-on approach in a service-based retail environment, where you will model excellence in customer service and professionalism, lead a team, and collaborate with both clients and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Store Operations:

Manage day-to-day store operations, including team performance, appointment bookings, and client interactions.
Serve as the studio floor manager.
Act as the primary lead in selling retail products to clients.
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Lead training for new and existing employees on selling techniques, product knowledge, services, and the Gee Beauty Experience.
Ensure the Gee Beauty experience is consistently delivered across all departments.

Inventory and Operations:

Oversee stock levels.
Assess and optimize store revenue and profitability.
Evaluate and improve store operations.
Handle elevated customer inquiries and complaints.
Serve as front desk support when needed.
Collaborate with leadership to refresh service and retail offerings.

Customer Service:

Prioritize customer needs and provide superior service, consultations, and demonstrations.
Utilize company tools and resources to build customer loyalty and drive sales.
Actively model the desired Gee Beauty behavior.

Team Leadership:

Demonstrate a professional image, adhering to Gee Beauty's CORE Values.
Foster an environment that supports Gee Beauty's CORE Values.

Operations:

Ensure optimized Operating Standards are in place.
Identify and track peak hours to maximize sales and store growth.
Maintain balanced inventory in line with revenue.
Ensure staff attend and participate in training programs for continued education.
Ensure the team adheres to personal presentation guidelines.

Marketing & Merchandising:

Merchandise the store to Gee Beauty's standards.
Coordinate and implement in-store promotions.
Follow current trends.
Create an incremental calendar of in-store events.

General:

Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
Follow loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure execution in the department.
Maintain professionalism at all times.

Be Connected to The Brand:

Follow Gee Beauty, 6 By Gee, and Gee providers on social media.
Subscribe to Gee emails, read blogs, and stay informed about promotions.

Requirements:

Sales Experience: Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales objectives.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry is highly preferred.
Brand Familiarity: Knowledge or familiarity with the Gee brand is welcomed but not mandatory.
Ability to quickly grasp and represent the brand identity and values.
Local Area Familiarity: Familiarity with the local area and market dynamics. Understanding of the target demographic and the ability to tailor strategies accordingly.
Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail or similar environment. Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Customer Service Excellence: Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with a strong focus on client satisfaction. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
Client-Facing Experience: Previous experience in a client-facing role, delivering exceptional service. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
