We are seeking a Modern Workplace Analyst Intern to join our Modern Workplace team at Canada's Challenger Bank.
As an intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting and improving the user experience across various endpoints within the bank, including laptops, mobile devices, and cloud solutions.
Your focus will be on enhancing end-user experiences and streamlining service delivery processes to minimize incidents related to planned changes.As a member of the Modern Workplace team, you will also collaborate and partner with different stakeholders to create policies, processes, and application deployments that meet the goals of the Digital Workspace Strategy.The Core Responsibilities Of The JobAssist in deploying, configuring, and managing physical endpoints using tools like Intune and AutopilotSupport the management of Nerdio, workspaces, and auto-scaling for efficient resource utilizationHelp configure, deploy, and maintain the Azure Virtual Desktop environmentAssist in deploying Microsoft and third-party updates to active endpoints using Intune and other relevant toolsParticipate in building co-managed Windows 11 environments using IntuneCollaborate with the Cyber Defense Centre to configure endpoint management policies and maintain security configurationsAssist in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting endpoint-related Group Policy and Intune PoliciesParticipate in vulnerability remediation efforts and tabletop exercises as directed by ISRMMonitor endpoint performance and ensure compliance with service level agreementsServe as a point of escalation for endpoint support and troubleshootingMaintain Azure AVD reports and communicate cost and usage to stakeholdersCollaborate with Collaboration Specialists to identify opportunities for enhancing user experienceAutomate routine tasks and processes using workflows, ITSM platforms, or scriptingTest and deploy new hardware, software, OS, or configuration changes following change management protocolsLet's Talk About You!Currently pursuing post-secondary education in IT or a relevant fieldBasic understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop implementation and supportFamiliarity with Enterprise Mobility and Security services, Microsoft Azure, and AADKnowledge of Microsoft OS, MS Office applications, and endpoint management toolsUnderstanding of ITIL v4 principles and experience with Asset Management systemsBasic experience with Intune policies, CIS hardening tools, and Azure AD ConnectKnowledge of advanced security and compliance services such as Microsoft 365 DefenderStrong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in PowerShell scripting and problem management is a plusHow To Submit Your Application!Your application must include your resume, cover letter and unofficial transcript.
