The Role

Our insurance group is looking for a Program Manager to join our journey.
We're looking for someone who understands various financial risk and compliance related data.

We're looking for a Program Manager who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence:
1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development.
As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Based on experience, support or own and manage one or more project workstream(s), including deliverables, while adhering to budget, timelines, and client engagement guidelines;

• Partner with clients and project stakeholders and apply technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; this may include leading and managing small solutioning teams to accomplish the above

• Lead and manage Guidewire implementation projects across various lines of business from initiation to go-live.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget while effectively communicating project status to stakeholders.

• Facilitate collaboration and communication between project team members, business stakeholders, and IT teams.

• Manage and resolve project issues and risks proactively, escalating issues to senior management when necessary.

• Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and optimize future projects.

• Ensure successful data migration and integration between Guidewire and other enterprise systems.

• Support the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure the quality and stability of the Guidewire solution.

• Support user training and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• 10 + years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry
• Proven experience in Canadian P&C Commercial lines insurance
• Experience in driving consulting engagements, transformation programs
• Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimsCenter
• Experience in enterprise Agile methodology.
  
• Strong facilitation and elicitation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment

• Onsite Requirements:
2 days onsite at client location in Toronto, ON

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client office in Toronto, ON.
