As the Director, Communications & Education (Members & Employers), you'll lead the charge in shaping how we connect with over 600 participating employers and 105,000 members.
In this key role, you'll ensure that every interaction - whether through tailored communication, engaging education programs, or strategic support - builds trust, deepens awareness, and strengthens our relationships with the employers and plan members we proudly serve.
And above all, that they reinforce CAAT's purpose to improve retirement security for Canadians.As part of one of Canada's fastest-growing pension plans, you'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure our employer and member communications, and education activities align with CAAT's long-term goals.
Your work will play a vital role in helping empower employers to maximize the value of the CAAT Pension Plan while giving members the information and tools to make the most of their pension journey.From overseeing impactful content development to enhancing onboarding communications for new employers, you'll bring a strategic, hands-on approach to how we inform, engage and educate.

A degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.10+ years of experience in communication, marketing, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within pensions, financial services, or related industries.Proven success in developing and executing strategic communication plans across diverse channels (digital, print, social media).Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex pension concepts into simple, impactful messages.Leadership experience with a track record of fostering collaborative, high-performing teams.Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for pension communications.A relationship-building mindset with a passion for understanding and meeting stakeholder needs.The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Develop and implement communication and education strategies that grow the value experience for participating employers and members.Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment with CAAT's strategic goals, brand, and long-term vision.Strengthen relationships by understanding employer and member needs and proving impactful supporting.Create resources to help employers maximize and communicate the value of CAAT Pension Plan as part of their total rewards offering.Lead seamless onboarding communication for new employers, ensuring a positive experience.Gather and leverage employer insights to continuously improve communication strategies.Design member-focused strategies that simplify complex pension concepts and enhance plan literacy.Develop engaging educational content, including workshops and digital resources, empowering members to make informed decisions about their pensions.Oversee the creation of clear, compelling materials that span formats such as forms, statements, newsletters, digital toolkits, and engagement campaigns.Ensuring messaging consistency across all channels while maintaining alignment with CAAT's brand and voice.Inspire and develop a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Set clear objectives and provide coaching to help your team achieve exceptional results.Step into CAAT - where your work is both rewarding and meaningful, growth is a constant, fun is the way we roll, and your impact is real!
