Position Overview:

The Digital Transformation Lead is a strategic role designed to bridge business and technology, drive innovation, and deliver measurable results. This individual will engage with clients to uncover opportunities, educate stakeholders on Enginess' capabilities, and deliver tailored recommendations that convert into actionable projects.

This role requires a blend of consultative expertise, technical knowledge, and business acumen. You will work to develop a clear understanding of client needs, guide decision-making, and align solutions with organizational goals. With a growth path toward building and leading a team, this role is central to shaping the strategic direction of Enginess and its clients.

This will initially be a contract position, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs. The role is a full-time hybrid position; our office is located in Thornhill, ON. Primarily, the role will be remote (work from home), with requirements for in person meetings or events as the business requires. Regular business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST, with some flexibility. Availability to work outside of normal business hours will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Opportunity Identification:

• Actively engage clients to understand their unique challenges and uncover opportunities for transformation.
• Develop and communicate a vision for digital solutions that aligns with client goals and Enginess' capabilities.
• Prioritize and pursue opportunities that provide measurable value, securing buy-in from key stakeholders.

Business Development Through Consulting:

• Represent Enginess' service offerings-digital transformation, cloud platforms, AI integration, experience design, and more-in a way that educates and inspires confidence.
• Lead consultative discussions, translating client needs into actionable roadmaps and deliverables.
• Convert recommendations into signed projects through clear articulation of value and ROI.

Solution Design and Delivery:

• Build comprehensive digital strategies, leveraging tools like Azure, automation, AI/ML, and other emerging technologies.
• Create high-quality documentation, including solution briefs, PRDs, FSDs, wireframes, and flowcharts, to guide project execution.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with analysts, designers, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as a trusted advisor, effectively communicating and aligning business and technical stakeholders.
• Present proposals, secure executive sponsorship, and manage relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.

Leadership and Growth:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of consultants, creating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to Enginess' mission and client success.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to position Enginess as a leader in digital transformation.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and refine strategies for future engagements.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in strategic consulting, business development, or digital transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), AI/ML technologies, UX/UI principles, compliance standards, and BPM.
• Familiarity with SDLC, PMP, and BABOK methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into innovative solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in creating deliverables such as wireframes, process maps, and documentation.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Proven ability to build trust and consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.

Success Metrics and Key KPIs

The incumbent will be measured against a defined set of KPIs, with a focus on the following success metrics:

Business Development and Opportunity Engagement:

• Number of relationships established through collaboration with marketing and sales.
• Opportunities actively engaged with, including pitches, RFP responses, and proposals delivered.
• Percentage of existing clients pitched with new solutions or expanded service offerings.
• Success rate of opportunities converting into signed projects.
• Total revenue generated from both new and existing client engagements.

Client Impact and Satisfaction:

• Client retention rate and growth within existing accounts.
• Client satisfaction scores (e. g. , Net Promoter Score or equivalent).
• Success stories or case studies generated from delivered solutions.

Project Delivery Excellence:

• Projects delivered on time, within budget, and meeting defined objectives.
• ROI delivered to clients based on the solutions implemented.
• Percentage of rework or adjustments required post-delivery (targeting minimal rework).

Team Leadership and Growth:

• Successful mentoring and development of junior team members.
• Performance metrics for team members directly managed (e. g. , individual KPI achievement).
• Retention and engagement rates for team members within the department.

Innovation and Strategic Value:

• Number of innovative technologies or methodologies introduced in client engagements.
• Alignment of solutions with Enginess' strategic objectives and client business goals.
• Contribution to thought leadership (e. g. , whitepapers, workshops, case studies).
