Business Development Associate

Are you a dynamic, competitive individual ready to make a significant impact? Join our team as a full-time Business Development Associate and play a crucial role in driving the growth of Actlabs in the mineral exploration industry. This is your chance to promote our leading services and build business in Northern Ontario and Quebec.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Expand and sell our services within the mineral exploration industry, fueling growth and innovation.
• Engage with current and past customers, building relationships to generate new sales.
• Research and identify potential clients, establish initial contact, and effectively sell our services to expand our client base and drive growth.
• Identify and attend high-impact trade shows and networking events.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure top-notch service delivery.
• Provide quotations, prepare sales contracts.
• Travel as needed to maintain and grow our client base.
• Assist with customer interpretation regarding geological and mineral requests and validate order setups.
• Collaborate with our team to create compelling presentations and reports.
• Deliver impactful presentations at technical conferences and directly to customers.

Being bilingual in English and French is a requirement that will enhance your ability to connect with our diverse clientele. If you are passionate about market research, lead generation, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders, we want you on our team!

What You Bring to the Team:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor's degree or College diploma in chemistry, geology, business, or a related field.
• Experience:
  Minimum of 1 year in business development, with a preference for experience in the mining/minerals industry.
• Communication Skills:
  Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is a strong asset.
• Skillset:
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in client acquisition through various methods such as phone calls, in-person meetings, and networking events.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Problem-solving expertise and the ability to create work plans for projects of all sizes.
• Proficiency in computer skills and a proactive, quality-driven approach.
• Customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime if required to complete projects.
