Primary Scope of Role :

Ensure all projects are planned and executed within scope & schedule.
Report progress, resource requirements, and escalate issues to the Project Manager
Perform project using appropriate human and capital resources, tools, and techniques.
Ensure adherence to all required safety plans (site specific plans, traffic plans, OHSA, etc.)
Ensure safety of crew members and follow all required safety documentation.
Create reports required by the Project Manager (i.e.:
Daily Work Records, Timesheets, Production Reports, etc.)
Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of GIP Interpaving Limited Health & Safety Policy Program.
Perform other related duties as required.

Position Requirements :

Civil Engineering background considered an asset.
Knowledge and Experience in Road Construction
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System and best practices within areas of responsibility.
Knowledge of the applications of Book 7 of the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM)
Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.
Technical construction, surveying, and analytical skills
Time management and strategic planning
Results-driven with a focus on delivering success in a fast-paced environment.
Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
