As a Transport Driver, you will be assigned to drive a variety of vehicles to & from our vehicle logistic centers (ADESA locations), providing our customers with local pick up & delivery services. You may also provide assistance with inventory moves within the ADESA lot.

This is a casual part-time position, typically scheduled for 2 - 4 shifts per week depending on business volume. Hours may range from 8am - 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include:

Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, as well as pick up and deliver vehicles while observing auction driving rules, rules of the road, demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.
Accurately input data using CarsArrive app pre/post delivery.
Must be safety conscious and ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes using our pre-trip safety process.
Report all incidents properly and immediately per established procedures.
Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service and demonstrating teamwork May be assigned to work in the yard to assist with vehicle inventory moves & lot turn.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

Valid G Driver's License required.
Satisfactory drivers' abstract & criminal record check required.
Ability to drive a standard transmission preferred.
Basic computer & smartphone skills required.
Must be comfortable driving long distances (up to 2.5 hours one way).
Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
Available to work a flexible schedule, as our shifts may vary based on business volume.
Must be flexible to work on Saturday.
