Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, process and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and foster strategic partnerships with provincial workers compensation boards, governmental organizations and other relevant opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the first responder industry, mental health, addiction and trauma related injuries. They will be skilled in building and nurturing relationships with key customers and organizations while demonstrating a passion for supporting those who protect and serve our communities. This is a National role.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Analysis:
Research and analyze each provincial Workers' Compensation Board to identify potential key customers and stakeholders that align with EHN Canada's services and goals.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and influencers within each Workers' Compensation Board to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Request for Proposals:
Develop clear, persuasive, and comprehensive RFPs for submission to Workers' Compensation Boards. Ensure all submissions align with client requirements, organizational standards, and industry best practices.
Market Research:
Continuously monitor the workers' compensation industry to stay informed on trends, regulations, and key stakeholders that may influence RFP opportunities.
Product/Service Alignment:
Collaborate with our Clinical and Operations teams to ensure our programs and facilities align with the needs of first responder groups.
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (Clinical, Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to gather relevant information for the RFP process and ensure submissions are complete and on time.
Networking & Events:
Represent EHN Guardians at industry events and conferences to promote our inpatient and outpatient programming.
Customer Retention:
Work closely with our Corporate Care Specialist team to ensure seamless admission, treatment experience, reporting and communication and discharge planning. Maintain communication with key customers during and after the RFP process to ensure clarity and satisfaction, and report on the progress of RFP submissions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Safety, or a related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of first responder needs, challenges and regulations.
Strong ability to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Exceptional writing skills with a focus on creating well-organized, compelling RFPs.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven track record of successfully driving sales and partnerships within the public sector.
Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with government contracts and procurement processes
Familiarity with industry-specific RFP processes and requirements.
Proven experience in working with Workers' Compensation Boards or similar organizations.
Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations is a plus.
