We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at our clinic locations in Constance Lake and Hearst, ON.

About the Role:

The Clinic Nurse will be responsible for developing and delivering harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency, based on a patient-centered model of care. This role requires a nurse who can interact with diverse and cultural clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, thrive on working within a team, and have a strong commitment to working with individuals living with addiction and mental health.

About the Position:

Develop and deliver harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency
Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate treatment plans
Perform ECGs, venipuncture, urine drug screening supervision, and testing, as well as administer injections and ensure proper documentation
Communicate with physicians regarding patient needs, changes in status, and emergency situations

Requirements:

Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Previous experience in addiction treatment and/or a similar field
Member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
Completes yearly CNO Quality Assurance certification
Provision of a recent and acceptable Criminal Reference Check
Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) are an asset
Current First Aid and CPR Certification required
