En tant qu'ergothérapeute, vous vous spécialisez principalement dans l'évaluation des patients adultes.
Au sein de l'Équipe de la mobilité des patients, l'ergothérapeute offre des services aux patients hospitalisés dans de multiples unités (médecine-chirurgie, soins complexe continus, urgence, soins intensif etc.)
L'ergothérapeute occupe principalement les fonctions suivantes :
• Triage et priorisation des demandes
• Évaluation et élaboration des plans de traitement
• Supervision des assistants en ergothérapie
• Travail en collaboration avec les membres de l'équipe multidisciplinaire des unités.
• Certaines visites à domicile seront nécessaires.
POSTE À TEMPS PLEIN TEMPORAIRE, remplacement de congé de maternité jusqu'en janvier 2026 approximativement.
Quarts de jours (et fins de semaine au besoin)
Ce que nous recherchons
• Maîtrise en ergothérapie ou formation équivalente
• Membre en règle auprès de l'Ordre des ergothérapeutes de l'Ontario
• Expérience clinique de 2 ans de pratique indépendante en tant qu'ergothérapeute dans un hôpital serait un atout.
• Expérience de travail dans divers contextes cliniques, à savoir: réadaptation pour patients hospitalisés, unités de soins intensifs, urgences, soins de courte durée et consultations externes avec une variété de patients présentant un large éventail de maladies, notamment neurologiques et neuromusculosquelettiques, cardiovasculaires et respiratoires.
• Capable de transiger dans un milieu à haut volume et en constant changement de demandes et de priorités.
• Possède une connaissance des deux langues officielles.

Occupational therapist - Mobility Team
Position Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, you specialize primarily in the assessment of adult patients.
Occupational therapist is part of the Mobility Team providing services to inpatients within different units (med-surg, complex continuing care, emergency, ICU, etc.).
• Triage and prioritization of requests
• Assess and establish treatment plans
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants
• Work in cooperation with the members of the multidisciplinary team on the units.
• Some community home visits will be required
TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION, Maternity leave replacement until January 2026 approximately
Day and week-ends shifts
What we are looking for
• Masters of occupational therapy or equivalent education
• Current member and, in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Clinical experience of 2 years independent practice as an occupational therapist in a hospital will be an asset
• Experience in working in a variety of clinical settings i.e.: inpatient rehabilitation, ICU, ER, acute care and outpatient clinic with a variety of patients who have a wide range of conditions, including neurological, neuro-musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory.
• Capable of working in a high volume environment with constantly changing demands and priorities.
• Possess knowledge of both official languages.
