Au sein de notre équipe d'imagerie médicale dans un milieu attrayant où tous les équipements sont neufs, l'échographiste effectue des examens échographiques afin de produire des images de haute qualité pour les radiologues qui interprètent ces images (souvent à distance) pour diagnostiquer l'état des patients.
L'échographiste rédige un rapport provisoire à l'aide de Powerscribe, qui est examiné par le radiologue.
Les échographistes travaillent également en étroite collaboration avec les radiologues et les urologues, en les aidant dans les procédures de biopsie.
Les procédures de routine effectuées par l'échographiste comprennent les examens vasculaires, abdominaux, pelviens, thyroïdiens, les lésions de surface et l'obstétrique.
Les examens spécialisés effectués à l'HGH comprennent la clarté nucale et le TMS de l'épaule.
Exigences obligatoires :
- Échographiste diagnostique médical (DMS-Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
- Adhésion au C.M.R.I.T.O. (College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario).
- Capacité à fournir des rapports préliminaires au radiologue.
- Posséder une connaissance pratique des deux langues officielles.
- Démontrer la capacité de travailler efficacement en tant que membre actif de l'équipe de soins de santé.

- Adhésion à l'ACTRM / OAMRS
- Expérience en échographie diagnostique
- Connaissance du PACS de McKesson et de Powerscribe, un atout
- Compétence en matière d'épaule TMS
- Autorisé à effectuer des eFTS (clarté nucale).

IAs part of our Medical Imaging team in an attractive environment where all equipment is new, the Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality images for radiologists who interpret these images (often remotely) to diagnose the condition of patients.
The sonographer completes an interim report using Powerscribe, which is reviewed by the radiologist.
Sonographers also work closely with radiologists and urologists; providing aid with biopsy procedures.
Routine procedures completed by the sonographer include vascular, abdominal, pelvis, thyroid, surface lesions, obstetrics.
Specialized exams performed at HGH include nuchal translucency and shoulder MSK.
Mandatory requirements:
• DMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
• Membership with the C.M.R.I.T.O. (College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario)
• Ability to provide preliminary reports to the radiologist
• Possess a working knowledge of both official languages
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as an active member of the health care team
Preferred (qualities that will make you stand out)
• Membership within CAMRT / OAMRS
• Experience in diagnostic ultrasound
• Knowledge of McKesson PACS and Powerscribe an asset
• Competency with MSK Shoulder
• Licenced to perform EFTS (nuchal translucency)
