Summary

The Commercial Driver position operates a commercial motor vehicle driving between pick-up and destination terminals. Ensures that trips are run safety, efficiently and in compliance with company and DOT regulations.

Essential Functions

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, required
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Important, required

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma/GED, preferred
Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience, required
Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months, required
Valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement, required

Chargement/déchargement du fret ou aide au chargement/déchargement du fret si le client l'exige.

Effectue d'autres tâches qui lui sont confiées.

Qualifications

Diplôme H.S. / GED préféré
Doit avoir un minimum de 9 mois d'expérience de conduite vérifiable requise
Ne doit pas avoir plus d'une infraction de déménagement ou d'accidents (autre chose que le stationnement) au cours des 12 derniers mois., requis
Permis de conduire commercial valide avec mention de frein à air

Compétences et capacités

Capacité de suivre des instructions écrites et/ou orales
Capacité de lire, d'interpréter et d'appliquer des lois, des règles, des règlements, des politiques et/ou des procédures Importants
