Overview

To be responsible for the effective operation of the Carvery Department by maximizing sales and gross profit, ensuring sales' goals and budgets are met and providing customers with the best quality foods, ensuring courteous, timely customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner.
To oversee the effective ordering, production, merchandising of all carvery products and ensure attractive displays to maintain and increase sales.
To plan daily production sheets to ensure variety in carvery products, and effectively prioritize and organize all production and department functions.
To maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales' goals, budgets and shrink targets are met.
To schedule, direct, supervise and discipline department staff and train all new employees.
To ensure compliance with the company food safety standards, regulations and audits.
To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.
To perform other duties, as required.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

Exceptional customer service skills.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the hot foods industry, with a minimum of 3 years' management experience in either a restaurant or fast food operation.
Previous managerial experience and knowledge of production schedules is a definite asset.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
