A well-known and respected Consulting Engineering firm, our client works on Mechanical, Electrical, and ICT projects focusing on Commercial, Institutional, Residential, Health Care, and Industrial.With strict adherence to quality and design standards, the personal touch they give to every client has them repeatedly winning work.With over 30 years in business and offices across Canada, stability and work/life balance is something this firm is really good at.Responsibilities:
Be client facing, managing the entire project from award to completion.Oversee the company's Designer's calculations on ductwork, HVAC, piping, gas, plumbing, and drainage, and incorporate those calculations into technical drawings.Oversee calculations to size equipment and prepare project-specific equipment schedules.Coordinate with necessary project consultants to review equipment, ensuring that a complete and correct design is achieved.Collaborate with the Building Services group to deliver multi-disciplinary projects through preliminary and detailed designs.Qualifications:
8+ years' experience in the field of Canadian Mechanical Buildings Engineering.Have the ability to check services and layouts for continuity, developing HVAC system layouts in coordination with the electrical, structural, and architectural building components.Be able to clarify project scope and create building sections to assist with interference coordination between building systems.Be familiar with electrical, structural, and architectural models to appreciate space limitations and interference.Be able to read drawings directly in Revit, adhering to the company's BIM/CAD standards.Compensation Range:
$105K to $125K+ is the starting salary range depending solely on the skills and experience you bring to the table.
