About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected.

Your Role:


You will work with the Reconciliations and Fund Accounting teams in all of our offices to ensure the proper establishment and the accuracy of listed security reference, pricing and corporate action data.
The Market Data Business Group (MDBG) Team uses its in-depth knowledge of financial instruments to investigate all issues relating to system functionality and instrument reference and pricing data.
Some of these issues include posting problems, accrual problems and breaks, research on new security types and any investigation that has to do with how a security is set up or functions within the system.
You will also provide support for a number of manual security updates including updating accrual and principal factors.
This team partners with the Pricing and Valuation Team and the Market Data Technology Teams to continuously improve instrument type functionality and coverage.
You will troubleshoot daily issues that arise regarding market data and our internal system's application of that data
You will analyze and correct anomalies in both vendor provided data as well as customer provided data
You will recognize patterns of issues and create requests to the IT staff for solutions
You will report to the local manager (VP) of the Market Data team.
You will work with development on projects relating to market and instrument data, and will conduct UAT testing in the Market Data environment
Liaise with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) team to automate Market Data processes as part of the firm-wide Business Process Optimization initiative
Prepare and conduct staff reviews as well as manage staff progression
Manage staff time tracking and absence records in the respective admin tools
Track progress towards goals and KPIs, motivate and support team efforts to achieve goals, take remediation action where issues and trends present themselves
Lead by example, be a good role model and positively influence the team to achieve a high-quality standard of work
Promote an environment in the team that encourages proactive resolution through seeking root cause analysis
Actively build and forge strong relationships with internal and external customer and serve as a positive ambassador for the team, through being someone who can:

Effectively manage escalations to resolutions
Dissipate confusion and forge clarity
Exhibit a can-do, positive attitude

About You:


You have a degree qualified in an IT/Business related discipline - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or relevant field.
You have a minimum 5 years' experience in Fund Administration or Brokerage Operations with a strong understanding of both static and variable Market Data.
You have in depth understanding of financial derivative products such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives.
You have prior experience working with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit and ICE.
You have strong market data and project experience, and knowledge in using Markit EDM.
You have prior experience using SQL, VBA.
Oracle or any programming language.
You have prior interaction with IT development staff on development projects.
You have experience in Summa (desirable, but not required)
You are able to recognize when to escalate issues and keep senior management and other stakeholders informed.
You have strong communication skills in writing and in person, specifically the ability to summarize complex ideas in simple terms.
You have experience managing and motivating a team, preferably in a virtual team setting.
You are adaptable and perceptive.
You have demonstrated problem solving abilities through past experience.
You are able to work independently and also collaboratively.
You are organized and lead by example.
