CLASSIFIED CYBER ASSURANCE ANALYST

SpaceX is seeking a classified cyber assurance practitioner to drive the SpaceX classified cyber assurance program forward. The program focuses on three major areas:

1. Assessment:
   Assessing the state of the classified cyber assurance program against industry standards, requirements (contractual and regulatory), and organizational needs.
2. Governance:
   Managing and spearheading governance of the classified cyber assurance program to interpret and drive implementation of industry standards, requirements (contractual and regulatory), and organizational needs.
3. Communications:
   Be "the face" of classified cyber assurance program to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customer, regulatory, government and supplier entities).

The successful candidate will assist in driving the classified assurance team to ensure SpaceX delivers on customer requirements, reduces risk, and ensures mission success. We are a fast paced, multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment with high degrees of autonomy and accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist the Sr. CCAA in the complete RMF A&A lifecycle process for assigned SpaceX classified information systems
2. Ensure compliance with existing regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements as they pertain to SpaceX classified information systems
3. Identify, triage, and implement new regulatory and contractual requirements into both broad and specific applications
4. Keep apprised of emerging community practices, risks, and threats
5. Plan, prepare for, schedule and coordinate audits, assessments, and tests
6. Identify, evaluate, and select various automation, assessment, and management tool sets to drive effectiveness and efficiencies
7. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Nessus, Splunk and Security Center tools
8. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Service Now (SNOW), eMASS, and other GRC tools
9. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, contractual partners, and Government customers
10. Successfully further SpaceX objectives and initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2. 3+ years of experience maintaining cyber assurance for classified computer systems/networks IAW various risk management frameworks to include NIST 800-53, DAAPM, JSIG, and ICD 503

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience working within highly technical and demanding teams and environments
2. Demonstrated experience with COMSEC procedures and practices
3. Continued track record of getting things done quickly with high quality
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
5. Exceptional organizational skills
6. Ability to perform within mission and time constrained environments
7. High comfort and acceptance for performing individual contributor functions/tasks
8. Practical understanding of the RMF 7 step process

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends
2. Ability to travel both locally and domestically
3. DoD IAM Level II eligibility based on active certifications
4. Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
5. Counterintelligence (CI) scope polygraph (full-scope or lifestyle also acceptable), or ability to successfully complete

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Level I:
$80,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year

Level II:
$100,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations:
job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.
