Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients' physical abilities through functional ability tests and other diagnostic methods.
Establish personalized treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnoses.
Plan and implement physiotherapy programs, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, patient education, and the use of electro-therapeutic and other mechanical equipment.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making modifications as necessary.
Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical and statistical records.
Develop and deliver health promotion programs for patients, staff, and the community.
Conduct research in physiotherapy and provide consulting or educational services as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A university degree in physiotherapy.
Completion of a period of supervised practical training.
A valid license or registration with the provincial regulatory body.
Successful completion of the Physiotherapy National Exam, as administered by the Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards, if required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to patient care and team collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.28-$55.79 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
