Introduction

The System Administrator position is one of the key roles at Supercity. As part of the Managed Services team, you will implement critical and innovative solutions that allow our clients to reach their business goals through IT. You will also make their infrastructure be more efficient, secure, and reliable.

Position Overview

Our System Administrators work as part of the Managed Services Team. In this role, you will focus on critical and innovative services and projects for our clients. Projects will consist of implementations or migrations of network, server, security, and applications solutions on-premises or in the cloud. As a network and systems resource, you will get called on as an escalation point for the Help Desk Team.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and research system upgrades, deployments, and perform repairs remotely on our clients' infrastructure.
Thrive dealing with ever-changing customer environments, technology challenges, and problem solving.
Work in a team and individually.
Train and educate our clients as well as fellow team members.
Communicate effectively with clients, either face-to-face, by telephone, or videoconferencing.
Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will solve business needs.
Update and create mandatory documentation, checklists, and templates.
Assist the team with outages and escalations.
Have a valid Nova Scotia driver's license and regular access to a vehicle.

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience in a System Administrator or similar role.
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Enthusiasm for continual learning with a passion for learning new technology.
Azure 365 courses and certifications.
Network vendor certifications.
VoIP Knowledge.
Knowledge of IT Security Concepts.
ITIL Foundations.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
