GN Systems Inc.
is presently hiring an energetic customer service-oriented, skilled and dedicated Red Seal/Journey person Electrician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including experience with low voltage applications and industrial settings.
This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as the ability to work with various hand and power tools.
The Journey person Electrician will be responsible for renovating existing electrical systems and installing new ones, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Position is based out of Bridgewater, NS and requires a technician who can travel to various locations in NS
• Duties :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settingsRead and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to determine installation requirementsUtilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks.Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgradesCollaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systemsAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing work duties.Keep accurate records of work performedQualifications:
Journey person/Red Seal Certification requiredMinimum of 1 year of work experience as a licensed ElectricianStrong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applicationsGood understanding of Computers, iOS, and Android appsExperience in residential or commercial electrical is a necessityProficiency in reading schematics and blueprintsFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment commonly used in the tradeExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMust have a valid Provincial Class 5 driver's license with satisfactory driving recordMust be able to travel, including traveling to remote sitesCustomer relations experience requiredCurrent Fall Protection, ladder safety & WHIMS certification, Working at Heights training is an assetResponsibilities:
Comfortable using handheld tools and working at heightsMaintaining stock of all parts, supplies, and equipmentYou will be exposed to a variety of weather elements including heat, cold, wind, and rainYou will interact with consumers daily and should be comfortable and able to effectively communicate/train customersFollow safe drilling practicesWilling to work flexible schedules including daytime, evenings, weekends & overtimeFollow safe work practicesWilling to travelExperience:
