Job Summary: Provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies working shifts scheduled by the Relief Coordinator. Achieve excellence in patient focused care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services in Northern New Brunswick and split relief in Miramichi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, focusing on disease management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, and prescription safety.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
  • Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants.
  • Collect patient, drug, and disease information to identify actual and potential drug-related problems.
  • Monitor medication adherence and provide patient counseling for new therapy.
  • Exceed customer expectations through role efficiencies, acknowledging customers promptly and professionally.
  • Understand and provide each customer with PROfile offerings, including Pill Pack Plus, Diabetes Care in Action, Autofill Plus, Health Inform, Kids Club, and Flavorx.

Requirements:

  • Above-average communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection Certification.
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
