Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support Key Account Managers by coordinating customer orders from order entry through fulfillment and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves confirming and entering customer purchase orders, maintaining order records, and acting as a primary conduit between Key Account Managers and other departments. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience in a sales support/coordination role. Key responsibilities include coordinating item set up/maintenance in customer portals, acting as an ERP system superuser, and supporting Key Account Managers with sales and shipment data analysis. The successful candidate will have strong organization and prioritization skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with other departments, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Confirm and enter customer purchase orders, maintaining order records in customer's online portals as required;
Act as the primary conduit between Key Account Managers and other Westbrook departments to ensure timing/availability of Westbrook product to fulfill customer orders;
Act as a first point of contact with customers to follow up on outstanding purchase orders, respond to routine inquiries, etc.;
Work collaboratively with Key Account Managers to build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and quickly resolving time-sensitive issues;
Coordinate item set up/maintenance in customer portals;
Act as ERP system superuser for the Sales team;
Support Key Account Managers, Sales Operations Manager by analyzing sales and shipment data, preparing proposals and presentations, etc.;
Meet regularly with Key Account Managers to review current/upcoming orders and provide status updates.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field;
1-2 years' experience in a sales support/coordination role;
Prior experience dealing with mass market retailer/customer portals strongly preferred;
Prior floral industry experience an asset.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other departments;
Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines;
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Exceptional customer service skills - able to respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner;
Exceptional communication skills (oral and written);
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency with ERP systems (MS D365/Business Central preferred) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
