Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized Sales Support Specialist to support our Key Account Managers by coordinating customer orders from entry through fulfillment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm and enter customer purchase orders, maintaining accurate order records in customer portals as required;
  • Act as the primary conduit between Key Account Managers and other departments to ensure timely availability of products, materials, and services for customer orders;
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on outstanding purchase orders;
  • Work collaboratively with Key Account Managers to build strong customer relationships and resolve time-sensitive issues;
  • Coordinate item set up/maintenance in customer portals and serve as an ERP system superuser for the Sales team;
  • Analyze sales and shipment data, prepare proposals and presentations, and provide status updates to Key Account Managers;

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field;
  • 1-2 years' experience in a sales support/coordination role; preferably dealing with mass market retailer/customer portals;
  • Prior floral industry experience is an asset;
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills to coordinate all aspects of order fulfillment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other departments;
  • Exceptional customer service skills, communication skills (oral and written), and analytical problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (MS D365/Business Central preferred) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

Compensation and Benefits

$52,500-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including casual dress, dental care, employee assistance program, extended health care, life insurance, on-site parking, paid time off, and vision care.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a reliable commute to Lincoln, ON L3J 1J8. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales support principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
