Olameter Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Electric Meter Technician.
Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, this role offers the opportunity to work independently, utilize industry-leading equipment, and contribute to the successful delivery of services to NB Power.As a Full-Time Electric Meter Technician with Olameter Corporation, you will be responsible for installing single-phase electric meters by replacing existing meters (change-out).
This involves the installation of new meters and meter modules to automate the process of reading meters for accurate consumption and billing.
The position requires valid driver's license, the ability to walk up to 5-10 km per day, and fluency in both English and French.The salary for this position is estimated at $21-$30 per hour, paid on a piecework basis after initial training.
In addition to competitive pay, our field staff are provided with safety gear, including company boots, vests, glasses, etc.
We offer a dynamic work environment with little supervision, allowing for independence and autonomy in managing daily tasks.To succeed in this role, you must successfully pass pre-employment screenings:
background check and driving record.
You should also be able to work efficiently during day shift hours, Monday through Friday.
