ICM Asset Management is an alternative asset manager focused on owning, operating and investing in real assets. We offer retail, private client and institutional investors an array of investment opportunities focused on real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure strategies.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Sales to lead our sales initiatives, and strengthen client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the asset management industry and possess the strategic vision to expand our market presence. This role will report directly to the COO and will be based out of Montreal, QC. Successful candidate must be fluent in French and English.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Building Relationships:

Cultivate and strengthen connections with Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Family Offices.

Business Development:

Actively identify and pursue opportunities with prospective clients through calls, meetings, and emails. Host and participate in conferences, seminars, and meetings to promote ICM's products and attract new capital.

Operational Responsibility:

Maintain and update the CRM database, share relevant firm and product information with clients, and provide regular updates and market information to leadership teams.

Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure compliance with all regulations by coordinating with the Chief Compliance Officer for material reviews before external distribution. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Qualifications:

A demonstrated commitment to excellence in sales performance and client service.
Fluent in French
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in investment sales. Experience in alternative assets is a positive
Proven success in driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Established connections within the financial industry and a strong professional network.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a results-driven mindset to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas confidently to diverse audiences.
Strong ability to follow through, resolve issues effectively, and make informed decisions using sound judgment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
