The Senior Resilience Investment Analyst is a dynamic new role designed to support Co-operators' ambition to address the significant climate adaptation finance gap-specifically by driving private investment into climate resilience infrastructure. This role is a core position within the Resilience Acceleration Lab (convened by Co-operators Sustainability and Citizenship team), and will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Finance, Legal, Business Intelligence, and Addenda Capital, Co-operators asset management arm.

How you will create impact:

• Support investment lead generation activities by researching priority sectors, geographies, and climate hazards in the Lab's investment strategy.
• Gather data to bolster screening, due diligence and development activities on potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and development of detailed and complex financial models (including discounted cash flow, sensitivity analysis) and risk analysis underpinning potential investments, with input, guidance and feedback from Lab teammates.
• Conduct research and gather data in support of the Lab's activities in each stage of the investment processes.
• Develop materials that enable decision-making such as project information notes, business plans, investment memos, pitch decks, presentations for executives.
• Accountable for tracking and reporting of Lab level KPIs and other metrics.

To join our team:

• You have 1-3 years of experience in Corp Finance environment (ideally infrastructure, but could be investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity).
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills are tantamount.
• You have a post secondary degree in Business, Accounting and Finance.
• Holding the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is an asset.
• Private equity and/or ideally infrastructure experience an asset.
