We are seeking a Manager, DevOps (Azure) to lead our DevOps team and oversee the architecture, implementation, and optimization of BoomerangFX's multi-cloud infrastructure.
This role will focus on Azure while managing integrations with GCP, AWS, and API management.
You will be responsible for ensuring stability, security, and scalability while leading a team to drive automation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement in our cloud-based operations.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, driving best practices in infrastructure management and ensuring alignment with the company's business goals.Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable cloud solutions on Azure to support high-performance applications.CI/CD Pipeline Optimization:
Spearhead the development, optimization, and maintenance of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated deployment processes across environments.Kubernetes & Containerization:
Mandatory experience with Kubernetes and Docker to manage containerized applications and orchestrate cloud environments efficiently.API Gateway Management:
Manage and optimize API Gateways, ensuring secure and efficient API traffic routing and management.Collaboration & Cross-functional Partnership:
Collaborate closely with development, IT, and security teams to implement infrastructure solutions that are innovative, secure, and scalable.Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Design and implement monitoring strategies to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the infrastructure stack.Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Drive automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell, establishing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Security & Compliance:
Ensure the infrastructure adheres to industry security standards and best practices, protecting both the company's assets and customer data.
Implement effective security controls across cloud environments.Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and incorporate cutting-edge DevOps tools, methodologies, and technologies to improve workflows, boost team productivity, and enhance system reliability.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, cloud solutions, and operational procedures.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Azure.Leadership:
3+ years of proven experience leading and mentoring high-performance DevOps teams, with a demonstrated ability to scale engineering teams and drive operational excellence.Cloud Expertise:
Advanced knowledge and experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructures on Azure.CI/CD Pipelines:
Expertise in managing, optimizing, and automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery for fast-paced development cycles.Automation & Scripting:
Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, alongside experience with PowerShell, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Containerization & Kubernetes:
Mandatory experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating cloud applications.Monitoring & Security:
Experience implementing robust cloud infrastructure monitoring solutions and applying security best practices to protect cloud environments.Problem-Solving & Collaboration:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity for working cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and security teams to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.What is in it for you:
