Summit Search Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join the West Perimeter Auto Service and Collision Centre Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure safety and optimal performance.
This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Automotive Technician Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in a variety of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address vehicle issues.
Perform tests to verify the success of repairs and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Provide detailed explanations to customers regarding vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and associated costs.
Order and install replacement parts or components as needed.
Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed.
Stay updated on industry advancements and new vehicle technologies.

Qualifications:

Valid Red Seal Certification as an Automotive Service Technician.
Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and diagnostics.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
