THE OPPORTUNITY

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
Ensure that Vidir's processes meet the highest standard of quality and compliance and conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Maintain quality assurance procedures, documentation, and records and report findings to the respective team and collaborate with them to develop and implement effective quality systems/procedures.
Implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary with internal/external stakeholders.
Provide and facilitate training to Vidir employees on quality standards and processes to support continuous education in Quality Management practices.
Lead and coordinate company quality meetings and collaborate with teams across all departments to drive quality improvement and theory of constraint initiatives.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in order to analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for process improvements.
They will provide reports and updates on quality performance to leaders and key stakeholders.
Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir's Risk Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.

Qualifications:

A combination of education and experience will be considered.

3+ years in quality control or assurance in manufacturing.
Focus on curiosity, consensus, and owning our own quality as a core value.
Recognized education in Quality systems would be considered an asset.
Experience in risk management systems.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to quality management is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of quality control tools and systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with quality control methodologies and software.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Innovative and team-oriented.
Goal-oriented.
Focused on professional growth.
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
Project management experience would be considered an asset.
