Nature Fresh Farms is a recognized leader within the greenhouse farming industry - join our team and help us continue to grow!We are currently looking to fill a permanent full-time position for a Financial Analyst for our Finance department at our Leamington, ON location.As a member of the Finance Team, Financial Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of Farm and Sales related data; providing actionable insights to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the Farm and Sales teams.Job Specific DutiesCollect and analyze data over time to forecast company trends and facilitate accurate production planning.
Develop in-depth sales reports, margin analyses, key performance metrics and related dashboards on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.Provide data and analytical support for presentations and business reviews.Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success.
Forecasting financials for the future.Cost benefit analysis on potential projects.Present findings to Senior management and Finance Teams so they can address issues or opportunities proactively.Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support sales and global supply teams.
As needed, assist Senior Management with identifying business opportunities through analysis and interpretation of consumer, customer, and market data to support various company initiatives.Other duties that the Company may assign from time to time.QualificationsDegree in Finance or Accounting preferred.2-3 years work experience in data analytics, preferably in produce or consumer-packaged goods.Talented researcher with experience analyzing business metrics and proposing business plans.
Experience creating reports for trends using historical data.
Excellent MS Office:
including Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables etc.), PowerPoint required.Knowledge/experience with accounting systems would be a definite asset.Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to execute with a high level of accuracy.Ability to collaborate and successfully work with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and tight timelines.Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.
Good team player; able to work with minimal supervision and within a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding Company related matters.Working Conditions Hours - Monday to Friday with occasional coverage on Saturdays if needed.
Flexibility with work schedule required especially during peak periods.Works with minimal supervision during the day, but also communicates with different levels of employees, management, and teams across all facilities.
