Our core focus is to become the best full-service bank for business owners in Canada. We deliver a proactive client experience through highly personalized service, specialized expertise, and customized solutions.
This leadership role provides strategic and operational direction for the account specialist team, with direct oversight of account specialists focusing on business opportunities < $2MM. The role adjudicates loans within assigned discretionary limits and ensures the assigned credit portfolio remains within CWB's credit risk appetite.

Provide leadership of the Specialist team to support achievement of branch financial objectives for business opportunities under $2MM.
Support the team in identifying full-service solutions for clients.
Participate in developing recommendations for driving deeper business relationships with existing clientele.
Optimize overall profitability of relationships based on return guidelines and customer risk profile.
Support the appropriate balance between growth and profitability in consideration of CWB goals and risk appetite.
Act as a credit subject matter expert.
Manage credit activities to ensure prudent lending with proactive risk management.
Lead team execution, deployment, and adherence to all policies and procedures.
Drive efficient and effective operations with strong data integrity.
A Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (equivalent experience accepted) with demonstrated & proven abilities (approx. 7 years' experience) within functions of risk management, banking, and business lending.
