Exciting Opportunity at a Leading Maritime John Deere Dealership! As a proud member of one of Canada's Best Managed Companies of 2024, our dealership, with 15 locations, is seeking a motivated and talented Sales Representative for Turf and Compact Construction Equipmen t at our Halifax, NS location.You will play a crucial role in promoting and selling both new and used John Deere turf and consumer equipment, including lawn tractors, to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary sales representative in your designated territory, driving sales of machinery.
Stay updated on the features and advantages of our extensive equipment lineup.
Track and analyze competitor activities, providing timely insights to management.
Keep comprehensive customer records to support effective sales strategies.
Adhere to a structured sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate in organizing and executing customer-focused events.
Conduct hands-on demonstrations of new equipment in the field.
Observe and report on trends in customer operations to management.
Understand financing options to assist customers in their purchasing decisions.
Participate in relevant sales training and development programs.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with turf equipment, agricultural practices, or operational knowledge is beneficial.
Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office and online tools.
Flexibility to work varied hours to meet customer needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.
Capable of analyzing and interpreting basic sales reports.
