Together, we contribute to the success of one of the fastest growing and largest publicly traded, pure play renewable power platforms in the world while supporting decarbonization and greater energy sustainability to facilitate the global transition to a net-zero.About the RoleReporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement, you will be responsible for the management and execution of activities surrounding the procurement of all Construction and Fabrication Services across North America, with a large focus on competitive sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate proposals with internal stakeholders and lead contractual negotiations with suppliersReview, draft and negotiate various contracts and service agreementsSupport contract renewals (e.g., staffing agreements, engineering and design, contract monitoring, and other related services)Proactively manage existing Master Services Agreements to ensure compliance to the negotiated terms and conditionsReview and draft Scope of Works (SOWs) or Addendum Agreements under the terms of existing Master Services AgreementsDevelop sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clientsWork with functional leaders to set strategic procurement direction for Construction and Fabrication servicesSafeguard, and ensure adherence to, all company procurement processes and policiesConvert purchase requisitions to purchase orders, as neededAssist in other day-to-day Procurement tasks as requiredKnowledge and Experience RequiredA minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Procurement, Contract Management or related fieldCompletion of an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fieldExperience reviewing and drafting contracts and service agreementsStrong analytical skills with the ability to recognize and address risks and opportunitiesStrong negotiation skills & working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniquesStrong understanding of, and experience with, legal terms and conditionsExperience in procuring consulting services would be considered an assetThorough understanding of full cycle procures to pay process & previous experience using an ERP system (IFS considered an asset)Working knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and OutlookExcellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently within a team environmentPositive, proactive approach to enhancing procurement methods and company practicesExcellent written and oral communication skills in English.
French communication skills considered an asset.Note:
