The RoleReporting to the CEO or designate, the Senior Manager, Partnerships and Business Development, is a key leadership role responsible for managing and growing MMG's partnerships portfolio while representing the company as a whole for business development initiatives.
This individual will focus on strategic partnership management and business growth for partnership-driven work while supporting broader business objectives, including event planning, client engagement, and the promotion of the organization's brand and values.Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Management and GrowthOversee the development, growth, and management of all partnership-related business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder values.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new partnership opportunities that contribute to sustainable business growth.Maintain and develop strong, productive relationships with current and potential partners, ensuring mutual success and alignment with strategic priorities.Establish and monitor partnership evaluation protocols to ensure value-driven outcomes, accountability, and alignment with the organization's mission.Regularly review partnership contracts and agreements to ensure compliance, relevance, and mutual benefit.Business Development RepresentationAct as the face of the organization in business development efforts across all businesses.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth in all lines of business.Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements to promote business opportunities and partnerships.Develop and implement strategies that align business opportunities with broader market trends and client needs.Build and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders across all sectors to drive business development initiatives.Event Planning and ExecutionPlan and execute events, including the organization's Annual Tradeshow and Golf Tournament, ensuring seamless delivery and impactful engagement.Manage all aspects of event planning, including logistics, sponsorships, marketing, branded materials, and stakeholder communication.Strategic Leadership and CoordinationProvide leadership in aligning partnership strategies with overall organizational goals and market opportunities.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure service excellence and alignment in delivering on partnership commitments.Regularly report to the CEO or designate on partnership performance, market trends, and business development progress.Continuous Improvement and InnovationStay informed on market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to guide business development and partnership strategies.Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and business plans to explore new partnership models and business opportunities.Gather and analyze client feedback to improve service delivery and help refine business strategies.Qualifications & Skills:
Proven leadership experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Experience in planning and executing high-profile events and initiatives.Excellent project management skills, with a track record of meeting goals and deadlines.Strategic mindset with the ability to align business opportunities with organizational goals.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of industry standards, trends, and best practices across partnership and self-performed work.This role is pivotal to driving growth through strategic partnerships, representing the MMG's values and interests, and ensuring excellence in both partnership-driven and self-performed business development activities.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing the organization's mission while building relationships that enhance MMG's reputation and impact.This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
