This role will be integral in driving our people strategy forward while ensuring we maintain our core focus on growth, collaboration, and employee success.What You'll Do:
Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations with a focus on Canadian employment laws, ensuring compliance across the organizationProvide expert guidance on Canadian HR policies, including labor regulations, benefits, leave policies, and health and safety standardsSupport managers and employees with Canadian-specific HR mattersPartner closely with the recruiting team to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new hires in CanadaCollaborate with the Learning and Development Manager to implement initiatives that foster employee growth and developmentEnsure alignment of all HR processes with Canadian standards while supporting global HR strategiesDrive projects that support a positive employee experience, including wellness initiatives and employee engagement activitiesAssist in managing payroll and benefits administration for Canadian employees in coordination with FinanceWhat You'll Bring:
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR professional, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environmentIn-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.Strong experience managing employee relations and conflict resolutionAbility to work collaboratively across different teams, including recruiting, people operations, and learning and developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organizationExperience supporting a remote or hybrid workforce is an assetDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain adaptable in a fast-changing environmentFor all full-time employees, we offer:
