Opportunity

The Department of International Business, Marketing, Strategy, and Law in the School of Business invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in Travel and Tourism at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2025, subject to final budgetary approval.

You will play a vital role in enhancing the department's focus on helping students develop practical skills needed to start their careers or continue their studies.
You will help students build a strong foundation of critical, analytical, and strategic business skills through work-integrated learning, undergraduate research projects, and assignments that encourage creative and strategic thinking and strong communication.

You will teach undergraduate courses in the Travel and Tourism diploma program, conduct and disseminate research in a relevant field, and provide service within the University.

You will hold a Ph.D.
in a relevant area of expertise and demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing research program.
Expertise in marketing, in addition to travel and tourism, is preferred.

You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including your teaching philosophy and recent teaching evaluations if applicable), statement of research interests, and a sample of your research work.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Department Chair to provide three (3) letters of reference sent directly from referees.

Only selected candidates will be required to submit official transcripts sent directly from the institutions where you completed your degrees.
