RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of ServiceNow SecOps and SIR solutions, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and secure ServiceNow integrations with SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, vulnerability management tools, and other security systems.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for SecOps within ServiceNow, ensuring future scalability and improvements.
• Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines for ServiceNow implementations.

• Implementation & Customization

• Configure and customize ServiceNow SecOps modules (SIR, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, Configuration Compliance) to meet organizational needs.
• Automate security workflows, playbooks, and incident response processes using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Develop custom applications, integrations, and APIs to extend ServiceNow functionalities in cybersecurity.
• Work closely with security teams, SOC analysts, and IT operations to refine incident handling and response strategies.

• Integration & Automation

• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow SecOps and external security tools, such as:
• SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management tools, Threat Intelligence platforms, Cloud security tools
• Enable Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Utilize REST APIs, MID Servers, and web services for seamless data exchange between ServiceNow and security platforms.

• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

• Ensure that ServiceNow SecOps and SIR implementations adhere to security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and CIS benchmarks.
• Define access controls, role-based security policies, and data protection measures within ServiceNow.
• Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to incident response and security operations.

• Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to CISOs, Security Directors, and IT leadership on ServiceNow SecOps capabilities.
• Collaborate with SOC teams, ITSM, DevSecOps, and enterprise architects to enhance cybersecurity response effectiveness.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to ServiceNow developers and security teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize security workflows and reduce incident response time.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow SecOps, extensive knowledge of security operations, and a strong architectural background.

• 10+ years of experience in IT Security and ServiceNow architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow SecOps (SIR, VR, TI, SOAR)
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, and integrations
• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat management
• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and ServiceNow development frameworks
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence tools
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and other security frameworks
• Ability to design and implement automated playbooks for security incident response
• Strong communication skills to engage with C-level executives, security leaders, and technical teams
