THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Collective Company is looking for an Associate Talent Manager to grow our current team of one. While this position is remote, our ideal candidate will be based within Ontario and preferably close to Toronto for occasional in person meet-ups; this is not mandatory for the right fit. The candidate will be managing, negotiating and securing brand partnerships for our existing roster of talent and growing our Canadian network on both the agency and brand side. We focus on building genuine connections with our talent so it is important that the new team member is able to confidently jump in and completely embrace this role, connecting with each member of ​o​ur roster​ and taking initiative every step of the way.

WHAT WOULD IMPRESS US?

• You have experience with Influencer Relations and/or influencer campaign management
• You have 1 year of agency experience
• You have completed an internship within the Influencer Relations or PR industry.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional time management, organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Posses a passion for the world of social media and digital marketing
• Ability to proactively take initiative to complete tasks and manage your time
• Comfortable with negotiating, contracts, sales and pitching clients.
• Superb people skills and an ability to work with all different types of personalities.
• Additional experience within PR, Marketing, Social or Digital Media is preferred.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

​O​ur Associate Talent Manager will support the current team with our established talent roster by managing campaign execution. The candidate will be responsible for making sure campaigns run seamlessly from start to finish and assisting in outreach for new partnerships. The ATM will act as a middle man between influencer, client and other team members to keep everyone updated as the campaign progresses. This will include reviewing and negotiating contracts, comparing content with campaign briefs, submitting content to clients for approval, reviewing and coordinating any requested edits, and ensuring the edits are made accurately. Additionally, you will ensure the talent has all necessary assets for publishing the approved deliverables, and providing the client with final campaign insights. The position will also include the following tasks.

ADMIN:

• Prepare weekly recap emails for talent
• Ensure talent materials are accurate and up to date (i.e. media kits and trackers)
• Maintain internal and external Google Drive files
• Format and update talent reports for each quarter and end of year
• Plan out talent content calendars
• Create and submit invoices
• Track proactive and reactive pitching efforts for all talent

CAMPAIGN EXECUTION:

• Negotiate with clients to secure fair rates for talent and review campaign agreements
• Handle communication with both the talent + the client
• Review talent content with briefing materials + flag any missed items with the Talent Manager
• Summarize brand/agency feedback to share with the talent
• Submit all content deliverables and insights to the client
• Add campaign dates (i.e. due dates and live dates) to your talent's Google Calendar + send day-of posting reminders to the talent
• Update campaign status on trackers for all talent + Talent Manager
• Assist in meeting monthly/quarterly targets
• Respond to all incoming outreach and proactively pitch talent to brands and agencies
