Ariba P2P Functional/Technical Consultant

Remote Canada - PST

Responsibilities:

Configuration and Administration - Implement, customize (where necessary) and administer Ariba Procurement Solutions: Ensure effective implementation of Ariba solutions and integrations to enhance procurement efficiency.

Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in procurement processes and implement best practices.

Support and Training: Provide guidance and training to procurement teams on using Ariba tools and processes.

Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making and improve procurement strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Experience: 5 years of experience with hands-on Ariba P2P design and configuration. Certification highly preferred unless more than 5 years of experience in the same is demonstrated.

Skills: Strong understanding of procurement operations, e-procurement tools, and supply chain management. Strong understanding of ERP (esp. Ariba ECC and S/4) systems and full Ariba suite. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate requirements and design to technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels. Proficiency in data analysis and project management is also beneficial.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to ECM solutions.

• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.

• Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of ECM solutions.

• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of ECM systems.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of ECM solutions, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ECM and related technologies.

• Implement ECM strategies and solutions with help of IT.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on ECM

• Strong understanding of ECM principles, practices, and technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and process maps.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
