As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be a strategic leader within Portage Energy, responsible for driving the company's commercial growth, innovation, and success.
Key duties include:
Developing and executing comprehensive commercial strategies to expand Portage Energy's market presence in the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) sector.Identifying new business opportunities both domestically and internationally, forming strategic partnerships, and building strong customer relationships.Leading the regulatory agenda, ensuring compliance while aligning with Portage Energy's vision and sustainability goals.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and implement sustainability-driven growth initiatives.Monitoring market trends, analyzing competitor activities, and adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the green tech industry.Lead negotiations and manage contracts for feedstock procurement, ensuring reliable and sustainable sources for SAF production.Develop and maintain long-term offtake agreements with key stakeholders, including governments, airlines, and other large-scale customers.Collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure favorable and compliant feedstock and offtake agreements, mitigating risks while maximizing commercial value.Identify and negotiate with new and existing feedstock suppliers to secure competitive pricing and supply reliability.Monitor and evaluate feedstock market dynamics, ensuring alignment with Portage's production goals and sustainability targets.Foster strong relationships with offtake partners to ensure the successful delivery of products in accordance with agreed terms and timelines.How to apply:
