CalgaryWe are looking for an Accounts payables coordinator to manage and process all aspects related to accounts payable.
This is a permanent and stable position with a large company based in Calgary.
You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, communicating invoice status, and performing other tasks as needed.
It is an excellent career opportunity, offering potential for growth in the medium and long term!100% of the work is conducted in English, dealing with clients and suppliers primarily from Western Canada.Working Conditions:
• Salary:
$50,000 - $55,000- 3 weeks of vacation- 5 sick days- Full range of group benefits- Flexible hours (40 hours per week, on-site)- On-site- Easily accessible by public transport- 100% English-only position- Interviews as soon as possible!Main Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy and in compliance with company policies.- Verify invoice details and resolve discrepancies.- Manage payment processing.- Maintain supplier records and respond to supplier inquiries.- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare monthly accruals.- Participate in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.- Generate and distribute accounts payable reports.Qualifications:
• College diploma or AEC in accounting, or equivalent experience.- Early in your career, with at least 1 year of experience in Canada, accounts payable or a -similar accounting role.- Proficiency in ERP accounting software.- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Please send your resume in Word or PDF format to Katherine Zenetzis at *** A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
