Job Title: Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant

Work Site: Lions Gate Hospital

Status: Permanent

Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service (FFS)

Come work as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

An opportunity exists for a Gastroenterologist to practice as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant (Gastroenterology Hospitalist) at Lion's Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC.

The successful applicant will be responsible for acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy. This position does not include any elective outpatient endoscopy provisions or privileges.

Terms of the position are negotiable with the Department of Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology.

Qualifications:
Education, Licensing, & Experience:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Desired

Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Mandatory

Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory

Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory

Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology or equivalent - Mandatory

Endoscopy Skills - Mandatory

ERCP/EUS skills - an asset
