Are you ready to lead one of Canada's best new restaurants? Our client is a well-established company with top-tier restaurants in several Canadian cities and the US.
They are seeking an exceptional General Manager to oversee and inspire the day-to-day operations of a standout restaurant recognized as one of the country's best new fine dining restaurants.

As General Manager, you will be the heart and soul of the restaurant, ensuring that every aspect of the operation delivers unparalleled quality and service.
Working closely with the front-of-house team, you will create an environment that is both welcoming and refined, ensuring that every guest feels valued and leaves with a memorable experience.
You will also act as the face of the restaurant, representing the brand both on-site and in the community.
This includes participating in events, building local partnerships, and fostering relationships that enhance the restaurant's reputation and visibility.
In this role, you will have full accountability for running a profitable business.
Beyond leading daily operations, you will take ownership of key areas such as financial performance, budgeting, inventory management, cost control, and forecasting schedules based on expected business volumes.
Your role as General Manager is integral to the overall success of the restaurant, and your leadership will set the tone for both staff and guests alike.
This restaurant is dinner operations, thus the schedule is afternoon and evening work.
Total compensation of $110K-120K, inclusive of tips and a relocation budget is available.

Description

Operational Excellence:
Lead daily operations to ensure seamless execution of service, maintaining a high standard of excellence across all areas.
Team Leadership:
Inspire, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative culture and supporting individual growth.
Guest Experience:
Elevate the dining experience by ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, personalized, and exceeds expectations.
Financial Management:
Drive profitability through accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and diligent inventory and cost control.
Scheduling & Forecasting:
Create and manage schedules that align with anticipated business needs to optimize staffing and efficiency.
Sales & Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue, ensuring the restaurant continues to thrive and grow.
Community Engagement:
Act as an ambassador for the brand, representing the restaurant at local events and building strong community ties.

Requirements

Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within high-profile or award-winning dining establishments.
A passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering world-class guest experiences.
Strong business acumen, with a track record of managing budgets, analyzing business metrics, and controlling costs effectively.
An entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and inspire a team.
Adaptability and grace under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A genuine enthusiasm for community involvement and building relationships beyond the walls of the restaurant.

Total Compensation :
$110,000-120,000 per year
